The readings from this area, including Lundin (1981) & Hazell (1990) indicate that over the relatively short history of school libraries a lot of the same issues arise and continue even in today's education system. Issues such as budgeting, TL training, library design, resourcing school libraries and collaboration (or lack of) between teacher and TL seem to become ongoing concerns of the profession, particularly in Victoria. The role of the TL appears to be becoming less defined as time passes.
It's not only the students that need to be information literate, but also teachers.
